As part of the Seva Saptah (Service Week) celebrations that began on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, various programmes are being organised. Even in personal meetings, people are making use of symbols associated with Modi. In this sequence, books are being exchanged while portraying the Prime Minister as a protector of the Constitution.
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s Regional Sanghchalak Pawan Jindal and former Prime Minister Chandra Shekhar’s political advisor H.N.Sharma met Nripendra Misra, Chairman of the Temple Construction Committee of the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. During the meeting, both presented to Misra a copy of Bhartiya Samvidhan: Ankahi Kahani (The Indian Constitution: An Untold Story), authored by Padma Bhushan awardee Rambahadur Rai.
It is noteworthy that Misra is also the Chairman of the Executive Council of the PM Memorial Museum and Library. The meeting took place at his office in New Delhi. Speaking about the interaction, Sharma said that various issues were discussed. “We felt that during the week-long celebrations of the Prime Minister’s birthday, presenting Rai’s book as a gift would be significant, as it covers the period of Constitution-making. The book contains many references that other writers have overlooked,” Sharma said.
