Assam’s Director General of Police Khagen Sarma on Tuesday said that the security forces had killed ten cadre of the anti-talk faction of the NDFB militants and arrested 343 cadre of the outfit after it massacred over 70 adivasis in three districts of the State on December 23 last year. Giving the report card to the media, the top cop said that the security forces, including the Assam police, the Central paramilitary forces and the Army—which had been continuing operations against the outfit since December 24—had also recovered over 100 arms, 164 grenades and 62.5 kgs of explosives from the militants during this period.
