Telangana drama likely to reach climax on Nov 21

Even as Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy’s visit to New Delhi to meet the Group of Ministers on division of Andhra Pradesh on Thursday evening was postponed suddenly, there were indications that the Centre will complete the process of bifurcation by November 21 and place the Bill before the Cabinet on the same day.

According to the senior Congress leaders, the State Assembly’s crucial and historic Winter Session was likely to be convened on November 25 or 26 to discuss the Telangana State Formation Bill to be referred by the President of India.

Officially no reason was given for postponing the visit of the CM but the AICC sources said that it was done at the request of Union Minister Manish Tiwari for Chief Minister’s presence in Hyderabad to attend the inaugural ceremony of the International Children’s Film Festival on Thursday evening.
