The politics of Telangna has taken a bizarre turn with major political parties calling each other the “secret agent” of some other major force.
While the main Opposition Congress leaders have alleged that the ruling TRS and its friend MIM were working as the agent of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP itself has said that a vote for the TRS was vote for Congress.
While the Congress charge against the TRS and MIM came at an Iftar party organized by the Telangana state Congress committee and was apparently aimed at wooing back the estranged Muslim minority, the State BJP leader K lakshman said that both the Congress and the TRS were opportunist party.
