After father it was the turn of the son to take on Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday. Former Deputy CM Tejashwi Prasad Yadav alleged that Nitish was a habitual betrayer. “When the parties were getting united under the influence of Mandal, he quit to form a separate party and later shook hands with the Kamandal Party BJP in early 90s and again when the opposition parties were getting united he ditched and went back to NDA,” Yadav alleged.
Addressing a Press is conference exactly at the same place where his father lalu Prasad fired salvos at Nitish on Tuesday, his younger son and heir apparant Tejashwi said he was still concerned about the future of his former boss because he strongly felt that the BJP would take revenge of the humiliation of 2013. “This Government is not going to last long and this time BJP will ditch Nitish,” he said.
Tejashwi, who worked as deputy to CM for 20 months, asked Nitish if he would ask the PM to take action against the people whose name figured in Panama papers and wondered why his inner voice was not provoking him. “About 75 per cent Ministers in the new Government have criminal and corruption cases and still the man with zero tolerance is silent. He listens to his conscience with his convenience. This is not antaratma but it is kursi-atma, lalach-atma, dar atma and Modi atma,” the 28-year-old RJD leader said and added that he had problem only with the young and honest person.
He sked why not a law is enacted that anybody against whom FIR is lodged should be barred from holding any constitutional post. He said, “For the sin you have committed the entire nation will curse you always and ask your clarification but you have no reply. The people of Bihar are boiling with anger and they will explode in the next election whenever it is held.”
Calling Nitish arrogant, Tejashwi said the CM claimed to be mass leader but he was only a caste leader and lalu Prasad was only mass leader in Bihar who showed his strength post Mandal and later on nd again he would show his mass support.
Tejashwi will begin his Bihar tour after August 15 starting from Champaran to tell the people about the “betrayal” and garner support for RJD’s August 27 rally. He said before that he would sit under the statue of Mahatma Gandhi to apologise for joining hands with the man who has embraced Godse followers.
