A 19-year-old girl was allegedly abducted and gangraped by two men and later dumped near the Delhi Chief Minister’s residence in Civil lines area of north Delhi.
“An FIR has been registered and we have detained two men. Further investigations are on,” a police official said.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police Madhur Verma, the girl — a resident of Ghaziabad — was found in an intoxicated condition by a police team near Vikas Bhawan late on Sunday.
She is currently admitted to St Stephen’s Hospital.
The victim, in her complaint, said that she was lured by one of the accused to his office in Sonia Vihar in east Delhi on Sunday evening, where he and his accomplice forced her to consume alcohol and raped her in turns.
The place where the girl was dumped is near Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s residence.
