A 15-year-old Class IX student was allegedly kidnapped and gang-raped by two persons, including a neighbour in East Delhi’s Pandav Nagar. The incident was reported on May 31 but still no arrest has been made so far.
Police said that the accused have been identified as Pradeep (19) and his uncle Fakira (22). “The victim lives in Pandav Nagar area and studies in a Government school. The incident took place on May 31 when the victim was on an evening walk in a nearby park. But on her way, one of the accused Fakira approached her and offered a joyride on his motorbike,” a senior police officer said.
The accused took her to his rented accommodation in Ghaziabad. There, they were joined by his nephew and they offered her a cold drink laced with sedatives. “They allegedly raped her also made a MMS clip. They also threatened her that they would upload the clip on Internet if she disclosed the matter. later, one of the accused drove her back to Pandav Nagar,” the victim told the police.
After reaching home, the victim narrated her ordeal to her mother who in turn informed the police about the incident. Based on the victim’s statement, a case was registered under Sections 376 (rape) and several sections of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act at Pandav Nagar police station.
