A kindergarten teacher of a private school in Kerala’s south-central Pathanamthitta district has been booked and suspended for allegedly breaking the arm of a four-year-old girl student of the lKG section of the school. The brutal incident had taken place on August 4.
According to the parents of the child, the teacher had attacked her for spilling some water from her water-bottle on the floor of kindergarten room. As the water spilled, the teacher allegedly caught hold of the child’s hand and twisted it violently saying that she would teach her how to put the bottle’s lid properly, causing bone fractures in the arm.
