The delegation demanded that the Government pay Rs10 lakh compensation each to the families of farmers who committed suicides.

The Opposition party also sought Rs30,000 as compensation for every acre of crop lost due to lack of electricity supply.

The TDP delegation which included senior leaders E. Dayakar Rao and R. Chandrasekhar Reddy brought to the governor’s notice the attacks by TRS members on TDP leaders and the party office in Nalgonda.
