A TDP member’s attempt of playing lord Krishna in the Well of the lok Sabha and some other members showing placards were “deprecated” by Deputy Speaker Karia Munda on Monday.
“The conduct of several members in the House today in showing banners and placards in the Well..., shouting slogans and one member dressed up dramatically and attempting to play the flute in the Well of the House was highly derogatory to the dignity of the House,” he said. His observations came close on the heels of TDP members, protesting the decision on Telangana, storming the Well with one of them, Naramalli Sivaprasad, in the garb of lord Krishna wearing a crown, a garland and holding a flute and ‘Sudarshan Chakra’ targeting the Congress and seeking justice for Seemandhra. Sivaprasad is from the Chittoor (SC) constituency which falls in the Rayalaseema region. His action of playing Krishna left most members amused.
