In another event Telangana Government entered into an agreement with the Tata Memorial Trust for the comprehensive Cancer care management.
Under the agreement signed in the presence of Chairman Emeritus of Tata Group Ratan Tata and the industries and IT Minister K Taraka Rama Rao in Hyderabad on Thursday a network of cancer care facilities will be set up in Telangana.
Taraka Rama Rao said, “We can not forget the cooperation Tata Trust has extended to the State of Telangana”.
The MOU signed by the officials was aimed addressing the issue of very later diagnosis of cancer limiting the treatment options. Under the agreement State Government will rationalise the cancer care at all the level of health care including primary, Secondary and tertiary state run health institutions.
