Within 24 hours of the directions from UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav, Noida STF arrested the SUV driver who had hit a woman’s car in Noida and threatened her on Sunday night. The action was taken after her husband, who is a News Editor in leading English daily, had complained to the CM on Twitter on Sunday night.
The accused has been identified as Devendra Yadav of Sector 35 Noida. He is an ex Army person and runs a security company in Noida. Police have arrested him under Section 107/51.
