High drama was on Thursday witnessed in front of Hazratganj police station in the heart of the city when suspended IPS officer Amitabh Thakur staged a day-long sit-in demonstration in connection with the alleged threat to him by SP supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav. Thakur's wife Nutan, claimed FIR No 562/2015 had been filed on September 24 after the UP Govt assured the Allahabad HC that it would forthwith comply with the order of a local CJM court to register an FIR.
