On Saturday Ahmedabad Crime Branch officials handed over Prime accused in kidnapping, rape and murder case of 12-year-old girl to Surat Police.
The crime branch personnel nabbed Harsh Surai from Ganganagar district of neighbouring Rajasthan on Friday. He was brought in from Rajasthan to Ahmedabad. During interrogation he confessed to his crime.
“The accused had brought the girl and her mother from Rajasthan to Surat and promised them shelter and then committed rape on both, mother and daughter. Initially he had killed the mother, who went missing around March 20.
