With the political atmosphere getting hotter, senior BJP leader Sushil Kumar Modi continued his attack on RJD supremo lalu Prasad and his family particularly Deputy CM Tejashwi Prasad Yadav. On Tuesday Modi said Yadav became owner of 26 huge landed properties at the age of 26,  while many of the properties had been gifted or transferred in his name when he was 3.4 years old. “How come a young man of 26 years became owner of the properties worth crores of rupees, some assets he got when he was a child and some when he was minor when hairs on his face had not grown,” asked BJP leader. He further said that 13 properties were registered in his name when lalu was Railway Minister while remaining 13 properties were registered to various companies and then transferred to Yadav.

The Deputy CM has been slapped with the FIR by the CBI for criminal conspiracy, cheating and criminal misconduct under Section 420 of IPC and 13(2) and 13(1)(d) of Prevention of Corruption Act. The FIR stated that between 2010 and 2014 Prem Chand Gupta’s wife Sarla Gupta transferred Delight Marketing Co in the name of Rabri Devi and Tejashwi. In 2014 all the shares of the company were transferred to Tejashwi and the land valued at market rate for Rs 94 crore and circle rate at Rs 32.5 crore but was sold for Rs 65 lakh.

Modi said 13 properties in Gopalganj and Patna were registered in the name of Tejashwi when he was minor and of them two properties were registered when he was only 3 years old. “He started construction of 12 floor Bihar’s biggest mall on 3 acres of land with the company of RJD MlA Abu Dojana, he was not only an adult but also Deputy CM. When he became owner of 13 properties through Delight Marketing, AB Exports and AK Infosystem he was 23 years old,” said Modi and added that 13 properties have been declared benami and attached by the Income Tax. Modi’s tirade came in response to Tejshwi’s statement that the case was quite old when he had not grown moustache.
