Rajya Sabha MP and the BJP's Gurugram election in-charge Subhash Barala held a meeting with ward coordinators and Mahila Morcha officials regarding Gurugram and Manesar Municipal Corporation elections at the party's office in the Millennium City on Thursday.

During the meeting, Barala egged on the workers and said that due to their hard work, the BJP would claim a big victory in the Municipal Corporation elections.

On this occasion, Minister Krishna Bedi, District President Kamal Yadav, State Secretary Gargi Kakkar, MLA Mukesh Sharma, State Media In-charge Arvind Saini, State President of Mahila Morcha Usha Priyadarshi, State President of SC Morcha Satya Prakash Jarawata, Harvinder Kohli, Manish Gadoli, Ajit Yadav and outgoing Mayor Madhu Azad etc were present on the stage.

"It is only due to the officials and workers that the party has reached this position that the government has been formed with full majority for the third consecutive time in Haryana," Barala said.

He appealed to the workers to go among the people in coordination with each other and work to form a triple-engine government.

"The BJP government has been working for the last 10 years by taking decisions in the public interest without any discrimination. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, the BJP government is taking the development of the state to new heights," Barala said.

Slamming the Congress, he said that just as the Congress ceased to exist in the Delhi Assembly elections, the people will wipe out the Congress in Haryana too. He said that the policy of the Congress has always been to mislead the people.

"Due to internal divisions, the leaders of the Congress work to confuse the people. The public has understood the deceitful politics of the Congress," he said.

He claimed that the atmosphere is in favour of the BJP, and the public has made up its mind to form a triple-engine government.
