Elvis Stephenson, whose complaint to the ACB led to the expose of the scandal, on Wednesday recorded his statement before the third additional metropolitan magistrate of ACB court under Section 164.
His daughter Jessica and friend Mark Taylor also recorded their statements before the magistrate which under the law can be used as an evidence.
Telugu Desam leaders have lashed out at the arrest of Vem Narendra Reddy and Revanth Reddy describing it as a joint operation and a conspiracy of the ACB and the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samiti.
Party leaders Varala Ramaiah and M Narasimhlu said that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was the main target of the conspiracy.
“Chandrasekhar Rao should have focused on serving the people of his State. Instead all his energies are going in abusing the Chief Minister of neighboring state”, Narasimhlu said.
He alleged that KCR was trying to discredit Naidu and uproot TDP from Telangana.
