Stalin's son slammed for anti-Sanatan Dharma remarks

Published on:

The call by Udhayanidhi Stalin to eradicate and abolish Sanatana Dharma should be condemned in the strongest of words, said Ramesh Shinde, national spokesman of Sanathan Sanstha, the Ramnadi based spiritual organisation on Sunday.

“This is not a statement expected from fair minded politicians. What will happen if some Hindu organisations issue a statement tomorrow asking the followers of Sanatana Dharma not to vote for the DMK? Politics should not be fought on the basis of religion,” said Shinde in a video message.

He said Udhayanidhi should bear in mind that people like Raavan and Kamsa had tried to abolish Sanatana Dharma and what happened to them. “Does Stalin or his son Udhayanidhi has the courage to issue such statements against other religions? This kind of loose talk should be nipped in the bud itself,” said the Sanatana Sanstha spokesman.

Shinde said the Sanstha would hold a brain storming session to counter the statements and charges against the Sanatan Dharma who do not have anything to do with the Sanatana life style.
