Exhorting party workers to spread the ideology of the Samajwadi Party among masses Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said that samajwad was the panacea of all prevailing ills of the society.
“SP is the only party which has a programme and ideology while other parties like the newly floated the Aam Admi Party (AAP) are standing on the cross-roads. We believe in equality among all class and caste while other believe in using class and caste for political gains," Yadav said while addressing a function at the state party headquarters on Tuesday.
Addressing workers on the death anniversary of socialist leader Raj Narain, CM said that his party would lead the nation and give a viable alternative after the lS elections.
He also criticised the BJP and the AAP for spreading a canard against the welfare schemes being launched by his party. “Our welfare programmes have been appreciated by several State Governments and many of them have copied these schemes,” the CM said while adding that fulfilling promises like laptops, unemployment allowances and kanya vidya dhan has made the Government popular among youths and poor.
“The present situation is a good opportunity for the SP to win maximum seats in the lS polls as the party never diverted itself from the path shown by Dr lohia or Raj Narain,” he said.
