Protesting against the operation of a liquor store in a residential area in East Delhi’s Vivek Vihar area, social activists on Monday took out a march against the authorities of Delhi State Civil Supplies Corporation. The march, which was organised under the banner of Youth Panchayat, was led by Pawan Choudhary and Ashok Yadav.
A complaint was also been lodged with the Food Supplies Secretary in this regard on June 10. “Since the market comes under CSC category, which prohibits operation of any liquor shop in the area, the operation of this store is illegal,” said Yadav.
