With an aim to take the message of good governance across the people of the State, the Samajwadi Party has chalked out an elaborate plan to educate its workers about the pro-people steps the Government has taken in the recent past.
In a high-level meeting held at the party office here on Sunday morning, senior leaders of the party prepared talking points, which would be distributed across to the party leaders who will spread the word in the nukkad meetings that would be held across the State.
A senior leader told The Pioneer here that it came to the notice that majority of the party leaders are not aware of the pro-people steps Government had taken in the recent past. Barring a few decisions like laptop distribution and Kanya Vidyadhan the leaders do not know about the achievements of the government.
“In some cases leaders talk about the Greenfield Expressway proposed between Agra and lucknow but they do not know the steps government had initiated in poultry and dairy sectors. The leaders do not speak about white revolution this government has brought in the state. leaders do not talk about insurance scheme government has launched for farmers and industry workers,” the leader said.
He said there are at least 18 schemes leaders should know and tell people but are ignorant about these. All these schemes are being brought under one heading. Small introduction is given to these projects so that leaders could know what exactly these projects are, he said.
The Samajwadi Pension scheme remains the flag ship project of the Government. Under this project over 40 lakh BPl families are expected to get pension of Rs 500 per month.
