Even as the Samajwadi Party has almost completed the process of the selection of the candidates for the 169 seats it had lost in 2012 Assembly polls; the ruling party is in no hurry to start the same for the seats won by it in last Assembly polls. SP sources said apprehending defection and subsequent threat to the stability of the Akhilesh Yadav Govt the Samajwadi Party is in no hurry to initiate the process of the selection of the candidates for the seats won by it in 2012 elections. For the sitting seats the process of the selection of the candidates will be taken up six months before the 2017 State Assembly election.
