The national executive meeting of Samajwadi Party will be held on March 25 — the first after poll debacle and would be the maiden executive meet after Akhilesh Yadav has taken charge as national president of the party.
SP vice- president Kironmoy Nanda told The Pioneer that party president Akhilesh Yadav has convened the national executive meeting to discuss political situation in the State.
Though he refused to disclose the agenda of the meet, Nanda said that all issues approved by the national council would be discussed on the approval by the national president. He also denied that the national executive would give its approval on appointment of Akhilesh as national president. "The national convention has already given nod on Akhilesh's elevation," he said.
