Defending conduct of Saifai Mahotsava and foreign jaunt by the State Government Ministers along with legislators, the Samajwadi Party said Opposition parties were making false noise because they could not find fault with the Akhilesh Yadav Government’s working.
“The Opposition parties are criticising the State Government for the sake of criticism. The Akhilesh Yadav Government has done very good work and has fulfilled almost all the promises in less than two years. Instead of congratulating the Chief Minister, the Opposition parties are criticising the Chief Minister for no fault,” party’s spokesman Rajendra Chaudhary said in a statement issued here on Thursday.
He said that Opposition was adopting double standard. The study tour of parliamentary delegation was nothing new. Ministers and legislators have gone to foreign countries in all tenures. This improves relations between the countries.
“The Samajwadi Party Government has not taken any special step. The delegation also comprises the BJP and the RlD legislators,” he said.
About Saifai Mahotsava, Chaudhary said that such cultural events were organised to promote local talent and local culture.
