Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee who was currently at loggerheads with the Narendra Modi Government on a host of issued including demonetisation that is known to have ruined the black money earned by many politicians and parties has congratulated her UP counterpart Akhilesh Yadav and Congress Party for striking an alliance in the coming Assembly elections in the State.
Mamata extended “full support” to the Samajwadi Party and the Congress alliance tweeting, “full support from Trinamool Congress for the good alliance.”
Mamata had soon after the demonetisation held a rally at lucknow with Yadav by her side. Insiders in the Trinamool Congress said the Bengal Chief Minister was likely to hold a number of rallies in UP in
support of the SP-Congress alliance.
