Kamalam Trust, which has been created to develop the saffron party’s offices in various parts of Gujarat, is developing the new State BJP headquarters.
The Gujarat Chief Minister, the State BJP president and other important Gujarat BJP leaders are trustees in the trust. It has applied to install solar panel on the rooftop of the building to generate power. “We are expecting clearances from the concerned authorities. Once the solar panels would be installed, the Gujarat BJP headquarters will be the first political office in India to have its own power generation source, that too non-conventional,” said Gujarat BJP sources.
