Congress president Sonia Gandhi’s helicopter developed technical snag at Chevella in Ranga Reddy district of Telangana forcing her to travel by road on Sunday.As Sonia got ready to fly for Andole in Medak district to address her second rally, after her programme at Chevella was over, she was informed about the technical snap in the chopper.Though an Army helicopter was organised for her travel, she refused to board it and preferred to travel by car from Chevella to Andole, a distance of 134 kms.“Sonia Gandhi left by road for Andole”, said Ranga Reddy district Superintendent of Police B Rajakumari.
