A spark emanating from Hathras, a city of literature lovers known as Hing Nagri, is reaching Talanagari.
On one hand in Hathras, there is a tense situation after the protest against the upper castes, the same situation has started arising in Talanagari.
Till now only Scheduled Caste people were protesting, but now people of Swarna society (especially Kshatriyas and Brahmins) are also joined this protest.
The gang rape case of Hathras victim Nirbhaya is now moving towards caste struggle.
The Thakur community of the upper caste of the surrounding villages is now becoming against the victim's family.
These people are protesting with banners in the victim's village that the fake FIR should be canceled and saying that a false case of rape has been imposed for financial gain.
Today, upper caste people held a panchayat in this case at the house of former BJP MLA Rajvir Singh Pehlvan. In this meeting, Rajveer Singh Pahalwan said that the rape case is false and the four accused are innocent and they should be released.
He further said that In the primary report, the victim did not register a rape case, the family's people have converted this case into a rape case to get financial benefits. On our demand, Adityanath Yogi has announced a CBI inquiry. Now the truth will be revealed.
We want to thank Yogi ji that he accepted our demand.
But the caste struggle in the village is igniting. Today around 150 people of upper caste protested ,carrying banners in their hands.They demanded that this case is false, it should be withdrawn. After this demonstration, tension in the village has increased and the victim's family is feeling scared.
The victim's brother said that in this village of 155 families, our community has only 4-5 houses. Once the police and media will be gone, the upper caste people of this village will not allow us to live here anymore. We are feeling scared as most of the upper caste people are Thakurs and they are threatening us. We have demanded protection from the administration.
In Jalali, near Dhanipur mandi, the upper castes have declared the protest by burning an effigy of Hathras BJP MP Rajveer Singh and demanded a proper investigation of the entire incident. Intelligence agencies are alert, and care should be taken that nothing untoward happens. This case is the main subject of discussion everywhere in the district. Different peoples have a different opinion, someone is saying that this is the conspiracy of opposition while someone is saying that the incident is true while someone is standing in opposition to its media trial. Police administrative staff in the district is also on alert. Every activity is being monitored. Each information is being taken seriously. Police continue to monitor any protests.
Aligarh Bar Association President, Ganesh Sharma said that incident of Hathras has increased racial tension. The political parties should let the court do its work instead of baking their bread. In any criminal incident, the involvement of politics increases the tension. The police should be allowed to do their work. After this, the work of the court remains. Court will punish if found guilty otherwise will let them free if innocent. The trial of any criminal incident out of court is wrong.
Dr. Hamza Malik, President of the Resident Doctors Association of JN Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University said that the action taken by the Chief Minister on the officers in the incident of Hathras is insufficient and is only to show off. The Chief Minister has no strategy to run the state. Concerning rape, the Chief Minister must understand the definition set by the Criminal Amendment Act, February 2013. He further questioned about the narco test and said that the narco test of the victim itself creates a twinge situation.
Sumant Kishore, Block Head of Hasayan said that it was revealed through the media that the victim's family has refused to conduct CBI inquiry and narco. He appealed to all the political parties to stay away and let the law do its work because these parties are hindering and interfering in with work of law and court. An atmosphere of tension is being created which is wrong.
Social Worker Ranjan Rana told that after 70 years in the secular country, there was an unfortunate change in the top power that a government was formed in the name of protecting religion. The country needed religion and casteism to make history. However, it turned upside down. We became the watchmen of religion. They became the contractor of castes based on manu smriti. The Chief Minister is the guardian of the entire state but is unable to take a decision above religion and casteism and as a result, the situation has come to a dangerous turn. There is no discussion of the constitution and law. The crime against this girl is being ridiculed by spreading the color of casteism.
The people of Chandgadi, Bahadurgadi, Bhatola, Ukaoli, Shekhpur is angry with the BJP MP Rajveer Singh Diler. People accused Rajveer for the caste-based politics and alleged that the MP has implicated the innocent children of the Chhatriya caste in the murder of the Dalit girl. The effigy of Hathras BJP MP Rajveer Singh was burnt in Kishopur Gadrana village along with protest. People of Swarna caste said that the innocent will not be allowed to be tortured in any way. Shekhar Thakur, Nishant Sharma, Jeetan Kumar, Mohit Singh, Nitin, Ashutosh, Sanju Pandit, Raghav Thakur, were present on the occasion.
