Siddaramaiah's 100 days as Karnataka CM

Published on:

Amidst playing backward class politics and internal conflicts of an outsider in the party, Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah completed hundred days in office.

The Congress, which came to power in Karnataka after a gap of 10 years, played the right chords to decimate both the BJP and the JD(S) by making Siddaramaiah, a backward class leader, the CM aiming at the 2014 general elections. Siddaramaiah has become unpopular and a victim of party’s internal conflicts which has come in open on several occasions. Siddaramaiah, who sworn in as the 28th Chief Minister of Karnataka, is helping the Congress with a focus to consolidate minorities, backward classes and dalits also facing a backlash by the dominant communities within and outside.
