BJP’s national president Amit Shah, who is also MlA from Naranpura constituency in Ahmedabad, will attend ongoing Budget Session proceedings of Gujarat Assembly on Thursday.
last time he attended the House on March 16, 2015. Though as per law an MlA requires to attend the House at least once in six months period. However, if the MlA takes permission with valid reason from the concern committee of the Assembly he/she can take leave for longer period.
In the case of Shah, he had taken leave, said official sources in the Gujarat Assembly. During his three day stay in the State, Shah is expected to hold series of meetings with the State BJP functionaries and MlAs in wake of the Assembly polls.
