BJP president Amit Shah has said bringing BJP to power from Kashmir to Kan-
yakumari is the goal of Prime Minister Narendar Modi and he has started working now itself to bring BJP to power in Telangana in 2019.
“BJP will come to power in entire South only when it wins Telangana,” he told the meeting of party’s booth committee in Peddadevulapally village in Nalgonda.
Before the meeting, Amit Shah accompanied by the State leaders undertook door-to-door campaign and pasted posters on BJP’s Mission 2019.
Pointing out that Modi’s development juggernaut was rioting across the country, he wanted the people of Telangana to involve in his development programmes.
lashing out at the failures of the TRS Government, he said Telangana villages are still facing shortage of drinking water and lack of cleanliness and people were suffering from pollution.
The Centre was providing Rs 2,000 crore to the State every year and many educational and industrial institutions were approved for Telangana, said Shah, adding that much more will be done. He said the Modi Government is not only working for development but also to strengthen the security and defence of the nation. “Surgical strike is a proof of this,” he said.
“BJP will step into South by winning Telangana. Modi Vikas Yatra in the country should also reach Telangana. We are working from now to bring the BJP to power in 2019.”
“The Modi Govt had laid emphasis on the security and Defence of the nation. We have shown our commitment through surgical strikes. You should participate and strengthen Modi’s development programmes. Centre is giving Rs 20,000 crore per annum to the State and more will be done,” he said.
