BJP president Amit Shah on Thursday announced a three member committee of party MPs that will visit Perumbavoor and Varkala in Kerala witnessing “shocking and unfortunate incidents” relating to Dalit women. According to the party, the committee includes three BJP MPs- Meenakshi lekhi, Arjun Ram Meghwal and Udit Raj. The committee will visit relatives of the victims from May 7 to May 9 and submit a report to the party president.
