In a new twist to Kolkata’s “House of Horror” episode, investigators have discovered sex and ghost angle to the Thursday’s case where a middle-aged man was found to be living with the skeletons of his elder sister and two dogs for the past six months.

Police have recovered a number of diaries and scribbled papers on which Partha De — the alleged “psycho” who was since getting treatment in a mental asylum.

“Things have been written in bits and pieces where De writes about how attractive his sister was getting by the day” said a police officer, adding, “He also writes about how her mother once forced the said sister to strip before him” and also forced him to share a room with a maid because she allegedly thought that her son was an incapable man and expected “sharing a room with the maid would strengthen me.”

The police and psychiatrists were working on the case sources said “and a lot of things have to come out of the bizarre chemistry between the family members of this house at Robinson Street in central Kolkata.”

The story of living with the skeleton came to light when police went to rescue Partha’s father who on Wednesday committed suicide by locking himself in a bathroom and setting himself to fire.

Police sources said “prima facie it seems that the De household was schizophrenic and were also suffering from compulsive obsessive disorder. And sex was another angle to it which can be proved by the lines written to each other by the family members.”

“Partha wrote how he and his sister loved each other. In another place he writes whatever the family had done it had done with full conviction and belief.”

Curiously Partha De the sole living member of the family now used to summon his sister in planchet and chat with her, sources quoting him said wondering how so divergent types of handwritings appeared in the diaries speaking about bizarre, unworldly affairs.
