Sena chief warns Pak not to take advantage of India's generosity

Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray on Sunday night warned Islamabad against taking advantage of India’s generosity.

In a strongly-worded statement issued ahead of his attending Modi’s swearing-in ceremony scheduled for Monday evening, Uddhav said, “Given that Pakistan-sponsored terror activities have not ended in the Kashmir, will Sharif — during his visit to New Delhi — give a categorical assurance to India that he would contribute to ushering in peace in the Kashmir Valley and elsewhere in the country IJ This question begs an answer in view of the fact that India had many times forgotten bitter events of the past and re-initiated peace process, and the exercise has all along been a one-side effort. It is rather difficult to believe Pakistan.”

“But, keeping in view Modi’s strong and assertive leadership, we would not like to throw hurdles in the peace process initiated with Pakistan by the new NDA Government. But, despite of all this, if Pakistan refuses to mend its ways, Modi will have no option but to press the button of trigger of nuclear bomb at his disposal,” the Sena president said, while warning Pakistan against working at cross purposes with India.
