The Supreme Court on Friday stayed the Patna High Court decision granting bail to Bihar MlC's son Rocky Yadav who is accused of killing a person in a road rage case. The order came on Bihar Government’s appeal.
The Bihar Government assured the Supreme Court that he will be taken back into custody. A Bench headed by Justice SA Bobde stayed the High Court order of October 19 and sought response from the accused.
Challenging the HC order, the Bihar Government submitted that the incident was an “open and shut” case as the accused was highly intoxicated when he shot a Class
XII student who had overtaken his car near Gaya on May 7 this year.
