The district administration has set a target to provide jobs to about 20,000 youths in Sansad Rojgar Mela to be held on December 12 at ITI, Karoundi, here. The district administration has so far received a total of 14,359 vacancies in as many as 108 companies. Chairing a meeting held at his camp office here on Monday to review the preparations for the proposed Sansad Rojgar Mela to be held at ITI, Karoundi here on December 12, the District Magistrate (DM) S Rajalingam directed the officers concerned to get maximum registration on the portal to make the job opportunity to maximum youths through Sansad Rojgar Mela. A target has been set to provide the jobs to about 20,000 youths through the proposed Rojgar Mela, he informed. The District Employment Officer informed that a total of 14,359 vacancies has so far been received in 108 companies.
