RSS leader seeks Prez rule in Bengal after workers' killing

RSS Delhi unit head  Alok Kumar on Friday  described the West Bengal Government  as " apathetic"  over the murder of one of the RSS worker, his wife, and their  child in Murshidabad district and sought imposition of President's Rule in the State " if Government remains apathetic and political violence continues".

"I believe that all those who believe in democracy, inclusiveness  , and right to dissent  must assert and raise their voice against the continued violence and intimidation in West Bengal", said the RSS leader who is also international president of Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP).

" If the Government continues to be apathetic and political violence continues , in my opinion, it is a fit case of imposition of Presidential rule", he said.

On  apparent  aversion of a section of political parties to condemn the incident, the RSS  leader said the attempt to turn a blind eye to the loot, rape and murders of political opponents is hurting and surprising.

RSS  worker, his pregnant wife, and their eight-year-old son were on Wednesday found murdered in West Bengal's Murshidabad district.

The bodies of RSS worker Bondhu Gopal Pal, a 35-year-old primary school teacher, his wife Beauty, and eight-year-old son were found lying in a pool of blood inside their residence on Tuesday in Jiaganj area of the district, according to the police.
