Election officials on Sunday seized Rs60 lakhs unaccounted cash from the house of an iron merchant in Harur near here.
Following a tip-off, a team of election officials along with Income Tax sleuths carried out a search at the house of Abdullah during the small hours and found cash Rs77 lakhs.
As Abdullah produced documents for just Rs17 lakhs, officals seized the remaining amount.
