The Uttar Pradesh government has made a budgetary provision of Rs 100 crore for the preparations for Maha Kumbh to be held in Prayagraj in 2025 with Finance Minister Suresh Khanna claiming that the government is making every effort to make this event a grand affair.
Devotees from all over the country and abroad will come to this event. In such a situation,, to provide them every convenience, schemes are being executed expeditiously, he added.
The Yogi Adityanath government does not want to leave any stone unturned for the Maha Kumbh to be held in the year 2025. Pucca ghats will be constructed on the Sangam bank. Cleanliness efforts and widening of city roads will be completed at the Mela site.
