Aligarh police busted a gang of robbers and recovered gold and cash of about 1.25 crore rupees.
Police arrested 5 members of this gang and sent them to jail. This gang has a long history of robbery in various states. Many robberies have beem cracked by the police.
In the Police Line Auditorium SP Rural Shubham Patel revealed the major theft crime. He told that the Dado police got information that the accused wanted in a case of theft is planning to go to Chharra to sell the stolen jewelry. They are standing near Pulia Bamba Ataa. Sub-inspector Harikesh Kumar reached the spot with the team and arrested all the accused.
50 thousand cash and waist flower of the yellow metal was recovered from Asim son of Dilabar Khan resident of village Milk Sheikhpur police station Dado Aligarh. A mangal sutra and cash were recovered from Shahrukh.
The necklace, ankle jewel, gloves and other jewelry were recovered from Asif Khan. A large amount of jewelry was also recovered from Munne Khan and Aqeel.
During interrogation, the robbers admitted their crimes. About 2 months ago at Mandoli police station Atrauli, they have committed the robbery. They already spend the money received by selling stolen jewelry. They also admitted stealing gold jewelry at Nawabpur police station in Dado. SP told that 3 days ago, they robbed a house by cutting the backside wall of the house in which nearly one lakh cash and gold jewelry was stolen. Accused sold all these items to an unknown person in Kasganj. After the disclosure of this gang, the police are now preparing to register this gang so that in the future police will catch this gang before committing any crime.
Police recovered 1,525 Kgs gold of 23.9 carats worth Rs 7,800,000 and a cash of Rs 3,023,000 from these robbers.
