The political developments in Karnataka seemingly showing some effects in Bihar. Saying that since the Governor invited BJP being single largest party for Government formation, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said similar yardstick should had been exercised in Bihar last year and his party and not JD(U)-BJP alliance been invited.
RJD and it’s all Congress have called their MlAs here on Friday morning for a parade before Governor Satyapal Malik who has given appointment to Yadav at 1 pm.
Yadav was referring to July 26 development when Nitish Kumar, then heading a grand alliance Government with RJD and Congress had resigned, made a quick alliance with BJP and was invited by then acting Governor Kesri Nath Tripathi. Yadav said his party RJD was single largest party with 80 MlAs while JD(U) had only 71.
“If post poll alliance was considered then why it is not considered in Karnataka now and Congress-JD(S) post poll alliance was not invited for Government formation,” said Yadav. The Congress has supported his stand. Party’s MP Akhilesh Singh said Congress fully backed Yadav’s move and might call it’s MlAs at short notice.
