In an attempt to put an end to the rebellion in poll-bound Maharashtra, State Industry Minister Narayan Rane has been named to head the Campaign Committee while former Unions Minister Sushilkumar Shinde will chair the Manifesto Committee. The AICC also named former Union Minister Ashok Chavan as chief of the Coordination panel of the Congress in the State polls where the party is in alliance with NCP.The party named a new team in Chhattisgarh too where it has been out of power for 10 years.
