Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh will visit the CRPF headquarters next week to review the functioning and operational preparedness of the key paramilitary that is the lead force for counter terror operations, anti-Naxal and anti-insurgency actions across the country. The paramilitary has instructed its various branches to ready presentation along with data and major issues for discussion.
“It has been desired by the competent authority that all records may be kept neatly in the branches. Corridors be kept free of unnecessary things and old files/almirahs kept in corridors be stacked properly,” said an internal note circulated to various branches. Singh is likely to visit the CRPF directorate on Tuesday or Wednesday during which he will be given presentation on the role and functioning of the CRPF.
