When Gujarat Chief Minister was busy in series of meeting at Delhi on Tuesday, party president Rajnath Singh landed at Ahm edabad. Although the BJP chief’s sudden and unscheduled arrival was not deliberate.
Singh was on his way from Delhi to Mumbai to attend an event. Due to bad weather pilots were compelled to divert his flight to Ahm edabad Airport.
“Rajnath stayed at airport only for almost 45 minutes. As news of his sudden arrival came, some of the senior BJP leaders including former Minister in Gujarat government IK Jadeja went to meet him. He departed as soon as the weather condition improved,” said Jagdish Bhavsar, media in-charge of Gujarat BJP.
