Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has approved the proposal to upgrade 5000 posts of Instructor (Level-10) to Instructor (Level-11).

Under the Rajasthan Panchayati Raj Prabodhak Service Rules-2008, there is a provision to fill the post of senior instructor by promotion. Due to the implementation of these rules, not a single post of senior instructor has been created so far.  Due to which the instructors have not got the opportunity of promotion. All the 24 thousand 829 instructors working at present have already been approved ACP Level-11. In such a situation, all of them are getting the pay scale of a senior instructor.

Along with this, apart from teaching their subject in higher primary schools located in rural areas of elementary education, they will also be able to run schools and do work related to them.
