In the country and the state, the infected people are facing a lack of medical oxygen due to the circumstances caused by the Covid-19 epidemic. In order to solve this problem, an initiative has been announced by the Government of Rajasthan for the “Special Package for Medical Oxygen Producing Enterprises”, under which different types of benefits and facilities will be provided to encourage enterprises producing medical oxygen by making a new investment. .
To get eligibility under this package, it will be necessary to invest at least one crore rupees by the enterprises and start production by September 30, 2021.
Under the package, provisions have been made to provide different types of benefits to the eligible enterprises.
As follows -
1. In accordance with the provisions mentioned in Path Rajasthan MSME Act 2019, the exemption will be granted from the regulatory approvals and inspection of the relevant departments of the state government for industrial activities for the first three years. In addition to getting the regulatory approvals from the concerned departments of the Central Government and Special cooperation will be provided by the state government in making available arrangements related to electricity and water connections soon.
2. Up to 25 percent of the expenditure incurred on plant and machinery or equipment by the enterprises (maximum Rs. 50 lakhs) will be provided in two equal installments as a capital grant. Provision has been made to distribute the amount of the first installment of the grant on submission of the purchase order issued by the enterprise for purchasing the plant and machinery or equipment, and the second installment on the production of proof of investment on commencement of production.
