welcomed warmly by GC Agrawal, General Manager, Western Railway, AK Agarwal, Chief Mechanical Engineer Mukul Jain, Divisional Railway Manager of Mumbai Central division. They inspected the entire train and discussed various technical aspects with personnel manning the train.

The train took nine minutes lesser time than taken by the Rajdhani Express. While it takes 15.50 hours for the Rajdhani Express to travel from New Delhi to Mumbai Central. Despite having been delayed more than two hours, Talgo train took 15.41 hours to reach Mumbai Central.
