In order to completely demolish the ecosystem of existing terror networks across different parts of the Kashmir valley, the State Investigation agency (SIA) Thursday conducted multiple raids across South Kashmir in a terror related case. According to the spokesman of the SIA, the raids were conducted across Anantnag, Awantipora, Pulwama, Kulgam and Shopian after obtaining search warrant from the court of Special Judge designated under NIA Act (TADA/POTA) Srinagar in connection with investigation of case FIR No. 16/2022 u/s 13, 18, 19, 38, 39, 40 UA(P) Act read with 120-B, 121 IPC registered in Police Station CIK (SIA) Kashmir. The SIA spokesman said, masterminds of terrorist outfits operating from Pakistan with active support of Pakistani Intelligence Agencies and in connivance with proscribed terrorist organisation(s) like JeM, LeT and its offshoot TRF have been activating their over ground workers (OGWs) in J&K for executing terror activities in J&K.
Despite identifying the handlers operating from Pakistan the SIA is keeping their identifities a closely guarded secret in order to track down all others operatives actively involved with them.
During the searches, incriminating material, mobile phones and other articles having bearing on the investigation have been recovered and seized.
SIA sleuths have started analysing the data to expose the network of over ground workers (OGW's).
