Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi completed his three-day tour to his Parliamentary constituency — Amethi on Friday and once again reiterated that the Modi Government at the Centre had wrecked the country’s economy. “In the past three years, the Modi Government at the Centre has done nothing to boost the country’s economic situation,” Rahul said while addressing party workers at Rae Bareli — Congress chief Sonia Gandhi’s Parliamentary constituency. The Congress top gun charged that farmers were facing hardships and small traders were facing troubled times due to demonetisation and GST. While interacting with Congress workers at Rae Bareli, Rahul told them to gear up for 2019 lok Sabha poll. He also had a one-on-one meeting with Congress MP Sanjay Singh, former MlA Amita Singh, MlC Dinesh Pratap Singh and MlA Rakesh Singh and the talks veered around the party’s strategy for the next lok sabha elections.
