Days after his interaction with competitive exam aspirants, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Friday interacted with students at the Post Graduate Men’s Hostel of the Delhi University.

Dressed in a white T-shirt and trouser and sporting a trimmed beard, Rahul Gandhi arrived at the hostel to interact with the students.

Rahul Gandhi, who studied at DU’s St Stephen’s College for a year before leaving for the United States, met students and also shared a meal with them. He reached the campus a little after 2 pm and spent an hour there.

“He visited our hostel and had lunch with us. We discussed issues pertaining to employment and joblessness as well as issues that we are facing within the university hostel,” said a first-year PhD student from the Faculty of Arts, who was among the few students who met Gandhi.

Sources said he sought to know about issues faced by the students and their career plans.

Last month, Rahul Gandhi had interacted with students preparing for the Union Public Service Commission and the Staff Selection Commission examinations in Mukherjee Nagar area here.

In Mukherjee Nagar, Rahul Gandhi was seen seated on a chair on the roadside with the students as he asked them about their expectations and experiences.

Rahul had earlier taken up the UPSC examination attempt issues and helped giving an extra chance during the Manmohan Singh government and later during the covid pandemic time he had demanded from the government to facilitate extra attempts for the aspirants.
